Remote – Newtons Hot Wheels

The primary program Newtons Hot Wheels is designed for Year 5 and 6 students to explore forces and how they are responsible for an object to change its motion or remain constant. The students will be investigating and demonstrating Sir Isaac Newtons First Law of Motion.

Students are introduced to different types of forces and, through experiment, will demonstrate how changing the force on an object will affects how it moves. The lesson provides instructional videos and written explanation to allow students to set up their own experiment and record and investigate their own results.

The program has been set up into Part 1 and Part 2, allowing the students to revisit the lesson and strengthen their knowledge about forces.
