Program:
10:30 a.m. – Mapping the Dot Points in 3/4 Biology (with Brian Stevenson)
The dot points define what you need to teach. In the current study design some dot points are problematic. In this program each dot point is examined in terms of its breadth and depth of biological knowledge that you need to teach and what your students need to know for the examination.
12:30 p.m. – Lunch break (a light lunch is provided)
1:00 p.m. – Science Skills and Assessment Tasks (with Annette Williams)
School based assessment tasks and teaching students the essential science skills.
2:00 p.m. – Postscript (with Brian Stevenson)
