The Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC) is a specialist space-themed school education centre, established by the Victorian State Government to encourage excitement about the learning of science.

VSSEC is conveniently situated in the grounds of Strathmore Secondary School and its inspiring spiral-galaxy shaped building offers an outstanding environment for hands-on learning.

The programs are varied and support dedicated subject and cross-curricula domains. Programs primarily support secondary school learning however specially tailored programs are often available.

The rich learning activities provided by the centre include the opportunity to physically walk upon the "surface" of Mars, co-ordinate a surface planetary mission from mission control or lead a planetary geology investigation.

The centre also provides dedicated professional support activities for teachers and student teachers.

Visitors to the centre have access to a theatre, computer suite, laboratory, mission control, Mars surface room and space laboratory.

All areas within the centre contain the richness of technology necessary to generate the excitement and learning promoted by the centre's programs.

The centre has disabled access and amenities.
